“What did I say about letting the chips fall where they may?”
The Casino scene was the most amazing way to end and bring Chair back to us. First Blair shows up as gorgeous as she never looked in the whole season, showing that Blair Wadorf is back, the confident, powerful, strong BW we used to know. Being sure of what she wants and how to get it. Being more sure than she’s ever been of the choice she made. As Chuck sees her, he doesn’t know what’s going on, what’s happening and how did that even happen. He is so clueless that looks so cute. Then B says “Thanks for the call” to Jack and C gets surprised by that and we fall for Jack again for being a hard Chair shipper. Then B says to C “You fought for me all year, I’ve come to fight for you” and “You said I always bet against you but this time I’m all in” and it’s the most amazing thing she could say to him. No need for the 3 words 8 letters again, she said it all just with that. And finally Chuck’s face. His expression so clueless, surprised, he didn’t say a single word in this scene and he did’t have to, just to see his face, amazed, confused by the fact that Blair, the love of his life, showed up in Paris and said those things to him, is the most sweet thing in the world. He’s never been this surprised before, and he doesn´t know what’s happening, what to do or say, he just stayed there, looking at Blair with the most sweet face he could ever made, and her looking at him, so secure of her choice. She has come to fight for him and this is what we have been waiting for, and may have not been a kiss or words coming from him, but it was worth it, so worth it. Her lines and his face was the best thing they could ever give to us after a year of waiting.

Son, if you’re 23 I have some words of wisdom for you. I’m almost old enough to be your dad and my boy and I talk pretty regularly about how the world works so I hope you don’t take offense to my tone, it’s meant to be helpful.
You need very few things at your age to meet a wonderful woman,…

the struggle against apathy is one we must all fight. we must never allow ourselves to be content with complacency, to allow ourselves to settle for “what is”, to fool ourselves into believing that this is the best there really is.
we have to actively remember those moments in our lives that no one can take from us. the moments that define us. because those moments give us the compassion and the empathy that we need to push this world in the right direction.
so please dont let me fall into apathy, into settling, and most importantly, dont ever let me lie to myself.
anyways, spent the day today remembering the happiest moments of my life, and not remembering the reasons that make it sad.
